We offer many degree and diploma programs, as well as short-term technical certificates of credit. For our community partners, we offer a number of programs and services through our economic development division, which include industry specific training, Quick Start, and continuing education. No matter what your individual or business needs are, we have an educational solution for you. South Georgia Technical College is also home to the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center, a world-class facility that is available to businesses and civic groups for meetings, workshops, and training activities. Our Business Expansion Center is also housed here. We provide services that can help your business grow. By helping our communities grow, we are also helping to provide jobs for our graduates. We are one of only two technical colleges in the state of Georgia to participate in Intercollegiate sports. South Georgia Tech is home to the JETS and the Lady JETS basketball teams. In only their fourth season, the JETS earned honors as State Champions and runner-up in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) District 10.
