DeAndra Robinson named SGTC Financial Aid Specialist

DeAndra Robinson of Americus has joined the South Georgia Technical College staff as a Financial Aid Specialist on the Americus campus, announced South Georgia Technical College President Sparky Reeves. Her appointment is effective immediately and she will be reporting to Financial Aid Director Carrie Wilder and SGTC Vice President of Administrative Services Janice Davis.
As a Financial Aid Specialist, Robinson will be providing information to students regarding state and federal assistance and coordinate financial assistance programs to enrolled students including scholarships, loans, and grants. She will also help develop and maintain student financial aid records.
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from Albany State University. She has been temporarily employed at South Georgia Technical College as a part-time Student Affairs assistant since November 2013. Robinson formerly worked as a receptionist at Barnum Funeral Home in Americus and as a part-time assistant Manager for Rue21 in Albany, Georgia.
She has a four year old daughter, Nylah Robinson.
