SGTC to close due to weather concerns.    South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford has announced that South Georgia Technical College will close on Wednesday, August 30th due to weather concerns.  No classes will be held and faculty and staff will not be asked to report.

The SGTC Office of Student Affairs held a "Lucky Bamboo" activity recently on the Americus campus for students returning for fall semester.
