South Georgia Technical College students, faculty and staff were invited to a “Waffles with the Watfords,” event to have an opportunity to meet with SGTC President Dr. John Watford and his wife, Barbara, recently in the SGTC Cafeteria known as “The Landings.”
“Thumbs Up” and “A great event” were some of the comments expressed by students as they had the opportunity to have a night-time breakfast featuring waffles, pancakes, shrimp and grits, omelets, and other traditional items. The event was held from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. and was free for all SGTC students, employees, and their families.
Aramark and its employees provided the food for the event and helped the Watfords serve the students and their families. This was a great way for students to talk with SGTC’s President and First Lady.
