South Georgia Technical College is proud to recognize Marketing student Qwantavis Milledge for successfully completing a summer internship with West Mortuary, Americus GA where he gained valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management.
Under the mentorship of Eric West, CEO of West Mortuary, Milledge applied the skills he developed in the classroom by creating, designing, and publishing engaging social media content to strengthen the organization's online presence. Throughout the internship, he developed promotional graphics, created digital marketing content, and managed social media posts that highlighted the services and community involvement of West Mortuary.
The internship provided Milledge with real-world marketing experience while allowing him to build a professional portfolio and gain practical skills that employers seek in today's digital marketplace.

As a result of his academic achievements and internship experience, Milledge will earn both the Marketing Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) and the Social Media Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) from South Georgia Technical College. These industry-recognized credentials demonstrate his knowledge and skills in marketing strategy, branding, digital communications, content creation, and social media marketing.
