South Georgia Technical College is encouraging individuals to become “Doers & Makers @ South Georgia Tech,” by signing up for Fall C-Term classes or Spring Semester on Tuesday, October 6th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both the Americus and Crisp County Center campuses. The Fall C-term eight-week classes begin Monday, October 13th and Spring Semester begins January 13th.
Students can get a jump start or restart their education by completing a full-semester worth of classes in just eight weeks during the Fall Semester C-Term that begins October 13th and ends December 9th. Students interested in the C-term classes can complete eight-week programs like Commercial Truck Driving and Electrical Lineworker before the Christmas break.
Other C-term eight week classes include: Computer Classes, Core Classes such as English, Math, Psychology, and more. Program classes available include: Computer Information, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Care and Education, Motorsports High Performance Engines, Sports and Fitness Management, Business Management, Air Conditioning Technology Allied Health Services.
In addition to the C-term classes, SGTC is also encouraging all students interested in on-campus housing to sign up now for Spring Semester. SGTC on-campus housing is at near capacity and students who sign up now have the best chance of getting and keeping their workforce housing.
There are currently over 200 associate degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit opportunities available at South Georgia Technical College. Financial aid is available. Now is a great time to begin or re-enroll to complete a college education.
