South Georgia Technical College Barbering Instructor Andre Robinson and some of the SGTC Master Barbering students participated in a Dads Day at the Shop event recently coordinated in conjunction with “Healthy Families of Cordele” and the Cordele Police Department.
The SGTC Master Barbering students provided free haircuts and family bonding opportunities as part of the day out for dads and their children. “Healthy Families of Cordele” and the Cordele Police Department coordinated the event and a large number of families enjoyed free haircuts.
“This was a great opportunity for our students to give back and also become involved in a community project that help benefits our area,” said SGTC Barbering Instructor Andre Robinson.
Robinson and his students may have the opportunity to participate with these organizations in other opportunities in the future.
