Interfor Preston Division Recognized by Governor Brian Kemp as Small Manufacturer Nominee

Interfor Preston Division in Preston, GA was nominated as one of the top 100 small manufacturing companies in Georgia for 2019 and they were recognized recently for their accomplishments.

Interfor manufactures a range of lumber products, and their sawmill in Preston was nominated as one of the Small Manufacturers of the Year for 2019 by South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia.  A small manufacturer is classified as a company with 150 or fewer employees.

As one of the nominees, Interfor Preston Division received a plaque signed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Matt Arthur, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia, which is a sponsor of the Manufacturers of the Year program.

Tim Lowrimore, Sandy Deer, Rhonda Holbrook and Eddie Riles represented Interfor at the 2019 Georgia Manufacturing Appreciation Week Manufacturers of the Year Governor’s Award Luncheon at the Georgia International Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
