The “Pink Out” day is part of a larger effort to increase understanding of breast cancer risks, identify the value of screening and early detection, and provide education on the various treatment options available for the many forms of breast cancer.

Each October is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and South Georgia Technical College is proud to support efforts to increase awareness and raise funds for research into breast cancer’s cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and a cure.
