SGTC Crisp County Center NTHS members hold book drive

South Georgia Technical College’s Crisp County Center National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) members recently held a book drive to emphasize that reading is an essential part of child development and success in life. The books collected were donated to the Crisp County Primary School’s media center on behalf of NTHS and in honor of Linda Albritton McGahee, a 30 year Crisp County educator who passed away in 2012. McGahee’s daughter, Gina McGahee Odom, was present when the books were donated.

NTHS members who participated include: Valerie Byron of Cordele, Joshua Chappell of Cordele, Maria Rivera of Vienna, Dakota Hall of Cordele, Ramona Williams of Cordele, Dontavious Harrell of Cordele Christian Powell of Cordele, and NTHS co-advisor Kari Bodrey.
