SGTC Holds African American History program on Cordele Campus

The Reverend Keith Lewis served as the guest speaker for the recent African American History program at the South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Crisp County Center. In addition to serving as the Pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church and the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Lewis is also employed at SGTC.

SGTC Dean of Enrollment Management Julie Partain gave opening remarks. She was followed by members of the SGTC chapter of the National Technical Honor Society with presentations on important figures in African American history.

Katrice Taylor, SGTC Admissions Coordinator for the Crisp County Center, highlighted African American artists and introduced Reverend Lewis.
