The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Office of Student Affairs recently hosted a Goal Setting & Vision Board Party on the Americus campus, providing students with an engaging and creative way to focus on their future aspirations.

Held in the Hicks Hall Student Center, the event encouraged students to reflect on their personal, academic, and career goals by assembling vision boards—collages of images and words cut from magazines that represent their ambitions and dreams. Vision boards serve as a powerful visualization tool, helping individuals clarify their goals and stay motivated to achieve them.

SGTC provided all necessary materials for the vision boards at no cost. Participants also enjoyed free snacks and beverages as they worked on their boards.

The Office of Student Affairs at SGTC organizes a variety of activities and events throughout the year to enhance campus life and provide students with meaningful opportunities for engagement. These programs help students connect with their peers, develop leadership skills, and gain experiences that complement their academic pursuits.
