SGTC Students Participate in Career Planning Workshop Using Focus2 Career System

Students at South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) in Cordele recently took part in a career planning workshop led by Charlene Williams, Retention and Coaching Specialist & Testing Coordinator. The session introduced participants to the Focus2 Career system, an online self-guided platform designed to help students explore career options and plan their educational paths.
Williams guided students through setting up their accounts and demonstrated how to use the platform’s features to make informed decisions about their future career goals. Focus2 Career allows users to assess their interests, skills, and values, and match them with potential career paths. The online system is accessible from smartphones, computers, and tablets, providing flexibility for students to explore options at their convenience.
“Focus2 Career is a powerful tool that helps students evaluate their strengths and make strategic choices about their educational and career goals,” Williams said. “By using this platform, students can take a proactive approach to planning their futures.”
