South Georgia Tech hosts end of summer semester cook out

South Georgia Technical College’s Student Government Association (SGA), Campus Life and Student Affairs recently hosted an “End of the Summer Semester” cook-out to celebrate the end of the semester.
Over 275 students, faculty and staff came out and enjoyed hamburgers and hotdogs. While at the cook-out, students registered for a chance to win a “Jansport backpack”. Four students were winners and those names include: Jocelyn Welborn, Culinary Arts; Amari Sheriff, Health Care Assistant; Semohn Davis, Drafting and Cindy Richardson, Culinary Arts.
South Georgia Technical College is currently registering students for Fall Semester. Classes begin August 14th. The last orientation date on the Americus and Crisp County Center campuses is planned for Thursday, August 10th.
