In-person registration for fall semester at South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) will take place Monday, August 16 on the college’s Americus and Cordele campuses. In Americus, registration sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. in the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center. Cordele registration will be open from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the SGTC Crisp County Center Auditorium.

Students will see Admissions and Financial Aid representatives, attend an orientation session, have their SGTC student ID made, and meet their course advisor for registration. Students will also receive their student email address and assistance with SGTC’s Single Sign On process.

On both campuses, students registering for fall will receive a free South Georgia Technical College t-shirt while supplies last.

On the Americus campus, hamburgers and hotdogs will be served in Hicks Hall from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for all students, faculty, and staff.

South Georgia Tech also offers an alternative to in-person registration: once a student has completed the admissions process, they may opt to complete orientation online and be contacted by their advisor to register for classes.
