South Georgia Tech to host job fair on Crisp County Campus

South Georgia Technical College will be hosting a job fair on Tuesday, August 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center campus at 402 North Midway Road. The job fair is held in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Labor, Cordele Crisp County Chamber of Commerce, and the Cordele-Crisp County Industrial Development Council.

Nearly 30 different employers will be participating in the event. Some of the businesses who have hiring needs include: Helena Industries, Innovative Senior Solutions, Crisp Regional Hospital, All State Truck Stop (Unadilla), Flex-Tec, Golden’s Foundry, Dooly State Prison, Cracker Barrel, Big Tex, Ingo Money, and more.

Some of the job openings include: CNA, LPN, RN, caregiver, autobody repair technician, formulator, production associate, cafeteria aide, psychiatric tech, industrial maintenance technicians, machine operator, forklift operator, CNC operator, welder, CDL driver, janitor, correctional officer, telecommunications engineer, customer service representative, admissions/marketing representative, social service worker, advanced bookkeeper, accountant, cook, server, dishwasher, financial services representative, room attendant, inventory control specialist, shipping assistant manager and more.
