South Georgia Technical College Connects Job Seekers with Employers at Job Fair

A large crowd of job seekers recently attended the annual job fair at South Georgia Technical College. The event was held in the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center on the Americus campus. SGTC hosts the job fair in partnership with the Georgia Department of Labor to help connect employers with qualified job seekers.  

Two hundred seventeen people attended the event where they had the opportunity to meet with representatives of 39 businesses with current job openings. The Department of Labor Americus Career Center registered 168 job seekers.
