Fire Office – Administrator

This course is designed for the chief officer who is ready to assume a leadership role
by moving into the upper administrator role in the fire service. This course is based
on NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications. Upon successful
completion of assigned NPQ tasks, graduates will have the opportunity to be tested
and certified at the National Professional Qualifications Fire Officer III Level. Note: For
qualification at the Fire Officer Level III, the Fire Officer II shall meet the requirements
for Fire Instructor Level II as defined by NFPA 1041 and the job performance
requirements defined in Sections 6.2 through 6.8 of the standard.
