Transient Students (enrolled at more than one school during the same term)
If you are wanting to take classes at South Georgia Tech (host school), then contact the Financial Aid office of your home school to insure that all your financial aid paperwork is in order as the home school will verify your eligibility. You are eligible to receive the HOPE Grant or Scholarship at the host school (SGTC) if you are otherwise eligible.

If you are a transient student from South Georgia Tech to a host school, then SGTC will notify the host school of your eligibility for HOPE or Pell. If you are eligible for HOPE, that can be received at the host school. Your Pell Grant will be awarded from South Georgia Tech (home school) at the end of the semester as long as we receive the enrollment verification from the host school after you have completed 60% of the quarter (normally after the 6th week).
