Downtown Americus welcomes all educators and students to come out to the Welcome Back Bash on Friday, September 7th from 5-8pm. Downtown businesses will be open late offering discounts, samples & specials, live music, and much more! Several of the downtown businesses will be offering discounts for both educators and students for the entire school year! Come downtown for a true First Friday experience. Participating businesses will be identified with balloons located outside of their store. Playbills detailing all of the activities will be located at each participating business and posted in this event.  Transportation to and from campus to downtown Americus will be provided for both the GSW and SGTC campuses.
