Lady Jets defeat Andrew College in NJCAA Region XVII semi-final round

The top-ranked South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets captured their 12th consecutive win to advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XVII Tournament Championship game. They will face East Georgia State College tonight (Friday, March 14, 2025) at 6 p.m. in the Hangar on the SGTC Americus campus.
The Lady Jets defeated Andrew College, 96 – 50 in the first semi-final game Thursday and then third-ranked East Georgia State College upset the second-ranked Albany Technical College Lady Titans 71 – 57 in the other semi-final contest to advance to the championship round. The winner of the game tonight will advance to the NJCAA Division I Women’s basketball National Tournament in Casper, Wyoming, March 25 – April 1.
