South Georgia Technical College’s (SGTC) annual “Spring Take-off” preview day will be held on Thursday, April 18 in the college’s Americus campus gymnasium. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature giveaways and a free hotdog lunch to attendees.

The event, now in its fifth year, will be similar in layout to previous years – each of the college’s programs will set up a table in the gym where they will give previews and demonstrations of their program, as well as share information and answer questions that attendees may have.

While the event will be mostly attended by high school students from Macon County, Sumter County, Dooly County and Schley County, anyone who is interested in exploring the available options at SGTC is welcomed. Visitors from the community will have the same opportunity to visit with the different program areas, ask questions, apply for admission, grab a free hotdog lunch and more.

For more information about the event, contact Whitney Crisp at 229.931.2299 or by email at wcrisp@southgatech.edu.

South Georgia Tech will be holding its first registration day for the Summer semester on Wednesday, April 17 – the day before Spring Take-off. The semester will begin on May 23, and only lasts eight weeks. For more information on how to apply and other important dates to know, visit our website: southgatech.edu.
