SGTC Student Braxton McGee Hired at Robins Air Force Base

South Georgia Technical College student Braxton McGee of Americus recently accepted a job offer from Robins Air Force Base to work as an Electronics Technician. He is an Electronics Technology student in his final semester at SGTC. He will graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology degree.

McGee shared the good news recently with SGTC Electronics Technology instructor Mike Collins and Career Services Director Cynthia Carter.

Robins Air Force Base employs over 25,000 civilians, active duty, and reserve military personnel. As Georgia’s largest single-site industrial complex, Robins is a common career destination for SGTC students. McGee is the seventh SGTC electronics graduate hired in 2023. All have a specialization in general and communication electronics.
