The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) was recently recognized as a Top Fundraising Chapter for 2020 by March of Dimes for their contribution of $1,541. It was the highest total raised in the state of Georgia and second highest in the nation.

SGTC’s PBL chapter raised the funds for March of Dimes as part of the annual Season of Giving initiative which also included a non-perishable food drive, a trauma bear drive, and a toy drive to support area organizations.

South Georgia Technical College is proud of the commitment to community service displayed by members of Phi Beta Lambda. Opportunities to participate in student clubs and organizations enable SGTC students to learn essential leadership skills in addition to the technical training offered in over 200 degree, diploma, and technical certificate of credit programs offered at SGTC in Americus and Cordele.
