South Georgia Tech adds two new beginning online EMT classes this summer

   South Georgia Technical College Emergency Medical Technology Instructor Brad Harnum is offering two new introductory online Emergency Medical Technician classes for summer semester which begins May 27th.

   “This is the first time that we will be offering an EMT class 100% online,” said Harnum.  “The first class will be taught completely online and then the second semester class will be taught online with one day of skills training per week, which will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate working students.  The lectures are prerecorded which allow the student to access them anytime.”

   South Georgia Technical College is currently enrolling students for an eight-week mini-mester which begins May 27th.  To apply online, visit the SGTC website at South Georgia Technical College at www.southgatech.edu.  SGTC is currently waiving the application fee and testing requirements for admissions.  A complete list of the over 450 classes offered this semester are on the SGTC website.     Financial aid is available.  Students can fill out the FASFA forms online on the SGTC website.
