South Georgia Technical College is one of the over 1,200 exhibitors at the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition’s 41st anniversary show in Moultrie, Georgia, October 16th – 18th. Thousands of visitors are scheduled to visit the 100 acre show site over three days.
South Georgia Technical College is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and is the second oldest technical college in Georgia. The campus has locations in both Americus and Crisp County offers students the “Complete College Experience” with on-campus housing at the Americus location as well as nationally ranked academic programs, intercollegiate athletics, and student clubs and activities.
Education is the key component of the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition with over 300 seminars and demonstrations offered over the three-day event. Twenty-one different education major universities and colleges and a special youth Educational Challenge for sixth through 12th grades are also being scheduled to provide competitive and fun opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge in six different content areas.

We offer over 200 associate degree, diploma, and technical certificate of credit programs.”
Instructors and individuals from the John Deere Agricultural Technology Program, the Caterpillar Dealer’s Heavy Equipment Technology, Diesel Technology, High Performance Engines, Automotive Technology, Aviation Maintenance Technology, and other programs were on hand to showcase their programs.
South Georgia Technical College also provides the use of free textbooks to students enrolled in classes which makes it very affordable. Financial Aid opportunities are also available.
