“The best way to ensure the long-term health of our bank is to help ensure the health of the communities we serve,” said Buddy Guth, Market Lead Commercial Banker IV of Synovus Bank in Americus, as he and Tami Duke, Retail Market Manager IV, presented a donation to the South Georgia Technical College Foundation recently.

“At Synovus, we express our commitment to community through Here Matters, our community outreach program,” explained Guth. “Here Matters builds on a century-plus legacy of service to local communities as the bank of here, focusing Synovus’ volunteer and financial contributions in three areas: needs-based opportunities, and health and wellness.”

South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford thanked Buddy Guth and Tami Duke and the entire Synovus team for their donation to the South Georgia Technical College Foundation in support of the college and its students.

“We are grateful for the partnership that we have forged with Synovus and for your continued support of our college and our students,” said Dr. Watford.  “You are an important part of this community and we appreciate your support of workforce education at South Georgia Technical College.”
