Trenika Mapp named Bookstore Assistant at SGTC
Trenika Mapp of Americus has been named Bookstore Assistant at South Georgia Technical College, announced SGTC President Dr. John Watford recently. She will report to Director of Administrative Services Mark Brooks and Vice President of Administrative Services Lea Coe.
Trenika has been the part time Bookstore Clerk on SGTC’s Americus campus since 2013. She will continue to assist with the day-to-day operations of SGTC’s bookstore, but she will now serve in a full time capacity. She will receive assigned money and count funds to verify amount assigned, process bookstore transactions, balance cash registers at end of day, assist with sales and other promotional activities to increase daily sales and community awareness, assist with inventory of books and supplies, and perform general clerical duties.
Mapp earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern State University. She also holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. Before her work at SGTC, she worked in various clerical and finance positions at Habitat for Humanity, Restoration Church of Americus, Carabella Corporation, and Citizens Bank of Americus.
She is a member of Restoration Church of Americus where she is a Financial Representative, and is the CFO of the church’s non-charitable foundation.
