South Georgia Technical College will be hosting a Fall Semester Registration/Orientation Day on both the Americus and Crisp County Center campuses on Monday, August 12th, 2019. Students who apply and register for Fall Semester on August 12th will have their $25 application free waived and receive a free t-shirt with the new slogan, “We are Impacting Student Success at SGTC,” while supplies last. Refreshments will also be provided. Parents are welcome to attend.

Students with high school transcripts reflecting a 2.6 high school GPA or acceptable PSAT, SAT, or ACT test score will not have to take an entrance placement test. Individuals can apply, enroll and register in one-day.

New students who have already applied to South Georgia Technical College for Fall Semester should plan to attend the registration/orientation sessions at either 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in Americus and at 9:30 a.m. or 5 p.m. in Crisp County. The Americus registration and orientation sessions will be held in the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center building and in the LIFE Lab on the Crisp County Center campus. Current students who need to register for fall semester classes can visit their advisors without attending orientation sessions.

Registration/Orientation Day is for students who have already been accepted or are currently attending South Georgia Technical College and need to register for Fall Semester Classes, sign up for financial aid or a dorm room. Students interested in dorm rooms are encouraged to go ahead and apply, enroll and register. Dorms rooms are limited and are awarded on a first come/first pay basis. A special orientation session will also be held for parents.

As part of the Registration and Orientation Day festivities refreshments will be provided and games and information about student clubs and organizations will be on display.

Crisp County Center students will also receive refreshments and learn more about student clubs and activities.
