SGTC’s Lady Jets face off against Casper College at 5 p.m. today

Lubbock, Texas- The South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets will face off against the number 10 seed Casper College Thunderbirds in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Women’s National Basketball Tournament in Lubbock, Texas, on Monday at 5 p.m. eastern standard time. The game will be broadcast live on WISK-FM 98.7.
The Lady Jets had the opportunity to practice for 30 minutes in the Rip Griffin Center on Lubbock Christian University campus on Sunday and now will try to advance to the next round of play by defeating Casper College. If the Lady Jets win, they will face Seward County at 9 p.m. eastern standard time on Tuesday.
The Lady Jets are currently 28 – 5 and are making their fourth appearance at the national tournament in five years and their fifth appearance in the history of the women’s basketball program.
